 Book 4, Chapter 1: The end

First quarter...of 10th Grade. 
Wow. 
How fast time really flies. 
The first quarter has reached its end, 
another quarter is yet to begin. 

All is Well, Maxwell! we say, 
It was...it really was..or was it? 
First quarter was both well and unwell 
It wasn't easy, literally 
The schedule was so tiring and 
so the schoolworks 

But, being in Maxwell 
does not mean always being well 
It also means "All will be well, in the hands of Maxwell" 
What a nice thing to hear 

First quarter was tough, 
Really, really, really, tough 
Not like the past first quarters, 
This one challenges us, 
Since this is our last first quarter in JHS, 
We need to build a nice impression, 
Give all our best, 
Because this time, 
Firsts will have a lasting impact. 

First quarter wasn't just about grades, 

But as well as passion, 
Leadership. 
Here, I have started my last year in Science Club, 
my first and last term as the President of Science Club 
This surely is just the beginning, 
More opportunities are still coming, 
There will be more tiring days and 
Sleepless nights, 
There will be more work to do, and 
more memories to keep. 

A new chapter has ended, 
another one unfolds 

That's first quarter for me,

  A small trash can have a big impact to the environment. Even the littlest wrappers of candy, tiny packets of biscuits, and many more can already contribute in damaging the environment. And just like how important a small trash is, our small actions to the environment, for the environment is also important. Even simply bringing home  your trashes or putting it in your pocket when there's no garbage cans in the surrounding can have a lasting—big impact to our environment.  As students, it is just right for us to learn the different ways of taking care of our environment. We are the 'future',  and the future depends on us.  We have the power to change what our world is today. We have the power, we hold the power towards an eco-friendly, safe, and sustainable environment.  What we do in the present, will surely  have a lasting impact on the future.  Think before you throw.

August 25, 2025 Office of the President Malacañang Palace JP Laurel Street, San Miguel, Manila Mr. President:  I am writing this letter to you to inform you about the well-being of the "Pag-asa ng Bayan", the students.  I am writing this letter to reach out to you on the education system of our country. I believe, you are doing your best to improve it. I highly appreciate your effort. But, what remains the real problem of the education sector is the well-being of the students.  Students these days are prone to mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, etc.. which affects their academic performance.
