Nutri-experience: In a winner's perspective
The main highlight of my July definitely the Nutrition Month Celebration. specifically the Nutrijingle competition that I was a part of.
This photo was taken during the recording of our song. Although I was not a part of the singers, it was still a core memory for me to step inside a recording station. This is where our journey starts. This photo marked the beginning of our journey—a journey that no one ever thought we would be taking.
The place was kind of creepy (lol) but it was still breathtaking and amazing. It was a horror movie coded place, where you can perfectly film a horror movie. But this place is also a home to people who helped us in our first step towards our award-winning (wow) NutriJingle.
Meanwhile, this photo was taken during our filming in Bicentennial. This was actually my most favorite photo among all the photos we had in this event.
This photo shows how happy we are in doing this NutriJingle. We actually enjoyed filming here, since we were dressed as kids, we actually acted like kids (lol). Running around, playing in the playground, chasing each other, taking turns in the slide and many more. This kinda healed our inner child.
The photo on the left side has actually a funny story lol. This was the time we got stuck on a muddy place. We were on our way to our second filming location. We didn't know the road towards our next location will literally be a rocky road. Our van got stuck and we were also stuck inside but we slowly got out of the van. We were waiting for help at this point, but our videographer actually saw an opportunity to film us dancing on this bridge. It has a very nice view. Instead of panicking and worrying, we enjoyed the view. We even ate our snacks here!
This just shows how much us—the students, don't worry much about things like this. It's very normal to worry on situations like this, but we proved that there is still good in it. It might be a bad thing but it could also create good memories. We don't need to worry about it all the time. Help will surely come. We need to enjoy the moment too. We need to enjoy the view and take it as an opportunity to bond with one another. :)
Next page....this is where we performed live! Dancing while singing (very Kpop/Ppop group ang atake), which was very difficult for us since we only had 2 and a half day to practice. But, despite of that short time given to us, we claimed and brought home the title CHAMPION for the NutriSayawit/NutriJingle Competition organized by the City of Vigan for the City-based nutrition month Celebration.
We received here a trophy and cash prize, which we divided into 9. This is definitely one of my proudest moment.
With our very supportive adviser, Mrs. Remedios Martinez. Who never failed to uplift us. She never failed to support us in this NutriJingle Competition.
After our performance in the morning—wherein we were declared as winners, we went back to ISNHS and we went to Ma'am Remy to tell her our success. Because this isn't just for us, but also for her and for our beloved section, Maxwell.
She was so proud that she even sent this photo to our parents' group chat.
The last page....a happy ending. This photo was taken while we were confirming if we really won 3rd place in the National Category of NutriJingle competition. It was unbelievable. Who would've thought we would actually win in the Nationals—who would've thought we will get this far.
I was just talking abou winning in the Nationals or being able to be part of a National cpmpetition, and here we are....National winners.
It was so unexpected, but it perfectly concluded our NutriJingle journey.
The happiest ending we could ever ask for.
