MAKIPAGRAGSAK!

My Ilocos Sur Festival experience was a very memorable and happy one. I was able to watch the parade held on February 2, 2026, which featured different float of municipalities featuring their products and their creativity. During the parade, I also saw familiar faces — my teachers, my friends, acquaintances, and  schoolmates. It was a very fun experience, and one of my most favorite part was the umbrella of SDO Vigan City since our view was high—we stayed in the Vigan City Christmas tree, we had the best view.

Additionally, during the parade I was with my schoolmates, and we tried to get candies and goods thrown by the people. It was tiring and our legs and feet hurt already so we decided to take a rest at the bicentennial park, we wanted to enter the stadium yet they only allowed those who participated in the parade to enter inside.

We also explored the Trade and Food Fair which was tiring since it requires a very long walk, but I still  enjoyed it since there were various shops to choose from and the food per locality were also featured. The Ilocos Sur Festival was a tiring yet happy experience, since this is the celebration of the people, the festival of people.
