124th HS DAY

ISNHS recently celebrated its 124th Foundation Day last March 6-7, 2025. On the first day of celebration, we attended the thanksgiving mass at the library, along with the other classes/sections. It was also the first time we were allowed by our adviser to wear our civilian clothes, so we grabbed the opportunity to wear our organization shirts and our best outfits. We didn't had any classes in the morning so we had so much free time. 

Meanwhile, in the afternoon we attended the coronation rites of Mr. and Ms. ISNHS. The gym was filled with so many people supporting their King Queen, Prince, and Princesses. We weren't able to finish the whole program due to the extreme heat we felt inside the gymnasium which made us uncomfortable. 

On the second day, we had a parade wearing our costumes for our field demonstration. Many joked and called us "kulto" and "multo" because of our costume. On the field demonstration, I was one of the people who helped in documenting the performers, I took videos and photos, along with my former coach, Mrs. Gorospe. It was a fun experience watching the field demo.

  A small trash can have a big impact to the environment. Even the littlest wrappers of candy, tiny packets of biscuits, and many more can already contribute in damaging the environment. And just like how important a small trash is, our small actions to the environment, for the environment is also important. Even simply bringing home  your trashes or putting it in your pocket when there's no garbage cans in the surrounding can have a lasting—big impact to our environment.  As students, it is just right for us to learn the different ways of taking care of our environment. We are the 'future',  and the future depends on us.  We have the power to change what our world is today. We have the power, we hold the power towards an eco-friendly, safe, and sustainable environment.  What we do in the present, will surely  have a lasting impact on the future.  Think before you throw.

I believe, you are doing your best to improve it. I highly appreciate your effort. But, what remains the real problem of the education sector is the well-being of the students.  Students these days are prone to mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, etc.. which affects their academic performance.
